Abstract

|
This study aims to suggest a fire protection method for gas and gas explosion in housing. The date in this study has been collected and analyzed the statistics relevant to fire and accidents of flammable gases from the "A Gas Accidents Year Book" published by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation. The followings are the suggestions based on research and analysis of the abovementioned date. 1. Necessary to raise the quality of fire protection policy. 2. Inspire conscious of fire safety into the hearts of people. 3. Design buildings and dwellings to reduce the hazards of fire. 4. Various regulations and policies for dwellings of the aged man should be performed effectively. 5. Establish a fire prevention program for flammable liquids and gases for an earthquake. 6. Develope advanced fire fighting system for housings such as automatic sprinkler, fire detection and fire extinguisher.
